Communet causing Cyber Bulling
Bullying experts feared the worst from the release of this social networking app, and they were right.
Communet, a social networking app developed for students to discuss school related topics such as exams, clubs and cafeteria food has turned into a playground for cyber bullying.
Students are able to post anonymous comments about other students, and I’m sure you can only the imagine the kind of comments being fed into this network.

“Really nasty things. If someone was on the edge this could push them over the edge,” said one student Global News spoke with.
“It was really mean degrading people and really rude things about them,” said another.
Future Plans for the Social Media App
While developers claim they are working hard to implement flagging systems to bring the app back to what it was inteded for, school boards are still warning parents and students about this application.
